Girl from the slums rises up through the ranks of Broadway chorus girls suspiciously fast and before long is the number one box office attraction in the world! She’s beloved even today by elderly Brits, mostly forgotten here. I’ll do a whole post on her at some point.

This particular photo probably ruined her chances in respectable society. Not only is she posed extra seductively, but she’s got a smoke going too. Anyway, I think the site is finally just what I want to be here, not some LLM’s hallucination of what a blog tangentially related to blues is supposed to look like. It was all pictures of beat up guitars on pool tables and lots of references to smokey barrooms. Not entirely inaccurate but dumb as shit nevertheless. The humans have won this battle! Assuming I’m human… Wait… could I be an alien?!? I don’t think I’ve ever even thought about that! I mean, I was born near Silicon Valley, and it’s never been scientifically proven one way or the other… all those tests back in first grade, just a few of us at a time, with people we never saw again… huh…

Is that why I have those weird underwater dreams and can rarely sleep longer than 4 hours? I can hold my breath a really long time despite being a heavy smoker too! Fuck! What am I supposed to do now? Who do you call even?
