Music and more with claudecat17 (aka Chris Davlin)!

Hello! And hopefully welcome back! Hoping to build a following here of people with excellent taste who like to be surprised by something in a fun way every now and again. We’re a few days into the now and agains and so far we ain’t exactly catchin’ fire, but I’m a persistent individual if the task at hand is laziness-friendly, which this most definitely is. In fact it causes laziness, in devious ways few would suspect.

Today’s a special day because not only is there music but there are moving pictures too! Video. A first here, aside from that one other time, possibly others. I’m too lazy to check. It’s just the musicians playing and singing (just Madison sings), but they’re all so great, the song too, that you start wondering what’s wrong with a world where these people aren’t world famous superstars, hanging out at hotel bars, etc. It’s so much fun to be able to see as well as hear when great art is being created out of thin air, experience and talent.

Just three women, in a studio, being recorded extremely well as they play a great song written by Madison, who sings and plays incredibly well here. She always does, but there’s something special about her live appearances that the studio can’t capture. Same thing for Lake Street Dive, who have been featured here before and no doubt will be again
